Justin James Reed

from the series south philadelphia, 2006
Justin James Reed has a stunning series of images from South Philadelphia. His work captures the fleeting feeling of desolation and urban living so perfectly. I really enjoy the subtle emptiness that his photographs employ.
He also has a blog located here. Go give him some Philadelphia Brotherly love.

    Good evening, “Brokenbike”:

Your user name does not work as a link, and so, though you wrote on my blog, I could only find you by looking at Google.

See top right on your dashboard. There is “profile”. There you have to put in your URL (again?) to link your name to your blog.

Yes. Your name is now linked.

(I have just gotten up and have seen your answer, but so early in the morning I can’t remember what to think about almost anything.)

these photos are awesome. I keep looking out for the houses and intersections around my neighborhood. It’s weird to see where I live through the eyes of someone else’s camera, y’know? It’s really neat though.

Can’t wait to see you next weekend!
