If you know me really well, then you probably know what my favorite song ever is…….

It’s Smokey Robinson – You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me. Why I don’t know. But recently I have been hearing all about this band called She and Him. She and Him revolves around Zooey Deschanel’s vocals with M. Ward working off with his production skills and string arrangements. It’s basic pop fused with some country/folk. For all intents and purposes this feel like a pop album to me as everything fuels off her beautiful and soulful voice. However M. Ward steps on You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me and sings with her. I think I like it. I won’t be too hard on it. It’s a nice song. I might have liked it more if it came out in the fall instead of spring. I’m seasonally sensitive.
