Maryland Film Festival
2008 May 1
This weekend is the Maryland Film Festival. Last year I had the experience of seeing Killer of Sheep there. Killer of Sheep was a student thesis film made by Charles Burnett and it’s seriously brilliant. It was made in the 1970’s I believe and was just released on DVD last year. Here is the trailer.
This year at the Maryland Film Festival there are multiple films I want to see. Most notably the documentary I Think We’re Alone Now. It’s about two crazed stalkers of the 1980’s singer Tiffany. It looks a little heartbreaking, and a little hilarious too. The trailer for I Think We’re Alone Now is below and here is a link to the the Film Fest Schedule.
I think we’re alone now = creeeepy.
I seem to never be able to make it to film festivals… so when I saw that there was one going on in Baltimore this weekend, I checked the schedule…
We Are Wizards is playing tonight at the Charles! hahahahaha… I’m so going.
Ps: I don’t think your video links are working… which is sad for me.
pps: see you tomorrow!
