Kinetic Sculpture Race
Kinetic Sculptures are amphibious, human powered works of art custom built for the race. Each May, the American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM) hosts the East Coast Kinetic Sculpture Race Championship on the shore of Baltimore’s Inner Harbor in central Maryland. The eight-hour race covers 15 miles—mostly on pavement, but also including a trip into the Chesapeake Bay and through mud and sand. Last year I was lucky enough to bike down and ride around with the Kinetic Sculpture Race. This year I have to work and although the race will probably be passing by my building, it’s just not the same. If you’re in Baltimore I highly recommend biking around with the kinetic sculptures. As it’s just a really good time and the sculptures are generally very interesting. For more information check out this website. And here are some photos from last years race.

The race looks like a lot of fun to be at. The weather will be perfect too. I think I will have to stop bye for this tomorrow!
Oh, I’m suprised to even get a reply on babies being thrown off a building.
