I love antique maps. They are so versatile. A nice thing to collect. They look good on any wall. They are informative and strikingly beautiful. Best of all, they aren’t very expensive. I was browsing the internet and I came across the website for Canton Gallery. It’s a gallery that’s located in Baltimore that is currently exhibiting the East Baltimore folk art of screen painting in both traditional and contemporary styles. Featured is the work of Jenny Campbell…from dresses to corsets to regular window screens.
Aside from that I noticed they had a section on their website of Antique Maps. For sale. All original prints. Here are some of the photos and I also included one of my own, of my favorite map that is currently hanging in my kitchen.

Heres my map. And my bike. And my fridge.

I was at the Walters on SUnday for rthe Map exhbit. The painting of Amsterdam was one of my favorites as well as the Civil War computer animated map of the war in progress. Not an antique but one of the best visuals there.
My mom wanted to sneak out one of the marble tablets of the creatin of Rome. Nest time.
