I really am looking for opportunities to do some extensive traveling next year. I have a couple options in mind, but I am definitely going to need funding. So far I am leaning towards spending the month of June in the Paros Islands in Greece. It’s relatively cheap at $2,450 includes course credit and living facilities on the beach as well as excursions and access to labs etc. The flight would be around $1,000 dollars which isn’t really too bad. Then there is the whole situation about missing time at the real job. If I still have the same job, etc. etc. Anyway I certainly do feel the need to get away so if anyone has any suggestions of places abroad that are reasonably priced please do send them my way.

I don’t know which specific program you are citing, but I do know you can’t do better than Paros.
There is something for everyone here.

yo, go to Greece. I left a fantastic job to travel for a few months back in the day (2001) and it’s still the best decision I’ve ever made. Trying to figure out how I can pull that again.
Rented a cheap apt in Ia on Santorini with the julie, we had scooters and straight pimped around all day. Paros is cool, but you’ll be able to bounce around on the weekend to peep other islands.
So again, go to Greece. Do not not go to Greece or you will regret it.
