This weekend in Baltimore

As usual there are a ton of things to do. But I am going to tell you what I am doing in hopes that you will do it with me.

Tonight: Tapas Teatro with the mom and Alicia where I fully intend on getting a pitcher of sangria.  Then it’s off to The Ottobar to see my brothers band Deep Cuts and The Motorettes (a Motown cover band.) I love Motown so I guess I am kind of excited about them. Then depending on what the mom is up for we might hit up Grand Central.

Saturday: I really have no idea what is going on Saturday. It could end up that we stay in and watch The Wire. Or if anything we end up at the “exclusive” (their words not mine) upstairs of central. Anything is possible.

Sunday: I plan on making breakfast. Then walking to the lyric for the Squidfire Art Mart if I’m lucky maybe I can find something to buy even.  Then later that night the Electric Junkyard Gamelan are playing a free show at The Metro Gallery. I saw this band once before. All of their instruments are invented by them, mostly percussive. Played by a troupe of weirdos from New York.  It will be a grand time.
